New Novel I'm working on

I love to write novels. Here is a preveiw of one I'm working on. Ideas for names would be appreciated.

“What were you thinking!? Bringing someone across when we are about to go to war!” Jalen shouted.

“I only did it because of the spell you cast!” Ridon yelled back.

“What do you mean?” Jalen replied suddenly calmer.

“You cast the spell to find my soul mate. The crash happened right in front of me! I felt her mind as she was dying and she is the one I’ve been looking for 6 centuries. If anyone is to blame, it’s you!” Ridon snapped. “If I had known it would endanger her life, I never would have asked you to cast it.” He sat down and put his head in his hands.

“Crash? What do you mean crash?” Jalen asked in horror.

“I was walking along the street when a Mustang was blind sided by a huge truck. She was driving, her friend didn’t make it. She was dying when I got close enough to help.” He looked at his closest advisor with great sadness in his eyes, “I didn’t even think when I looked into her mind. Her mind was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. She’s intelligent, strong willed, and a fighter at heart.”

Jalen chuckled, “She sounds like you when you were young.”

“And now because of your spell, I had to force the choice on her!” Ridon growled.

“I didn’t know it would happen like that!” Jalen snapped, “The spell is to guide you to your soul mate, not nearly kill her!”

“Why would the spell work like that?” Ridon asked.

“I’m not sure. Tell me how you know it was her.”

“I had gone for a walk down town just after sun down. There were a couple of incidents I though might have been her, but every time I tried to interfere I would get the feeling that I wasn’t suppose to stop. So I kept walking. I hit Main Street and Hallowell and then the crash happened. I had the feeling that this was why I had the urge to keep walking.” Ridon looked up at Jalen.

“How much do you know of her?”

“Just her name, _______, what I’ve already told you, and this.” Ridon handed Jalen a wedding band.

“Gods! She’s married!” Jalen exclaimed.

“I didn’t know until after I brought her across.” Ridon replied, “Her left hand was next to my chest, I didn’t feel it until I held her hand. The paper said she was dead. The fire was so hot, it incinerated the bodies. As far as the world is concerned, _______, is dead and will be buried in three days.”

“Has she woken yet?”

“No. She has slept since the accident last night.”

“Her new blood will need time to heal her extensive injuries.” Jalen sighed. “Perhaps the spell caused the accident because she is married. I suppose it would now be she was married.”

Victory

I wrote this poem one night while staring at the moon.

Victory
The circle closes, you and go round and round,
Nipping, growling, giving wounds,
You attack, I dodge,
I slip and fall, you jump to bite,
Your jaw comes down with all its might,
You stand above, I lay below,
I await that final blow,
Wait, there's some thing howling, calling, deep within,
I lunge and jump, I hit my mark,
I listen to your slowing heart,
I raise my once silver muzzle,
Now stained red with blood,
Victory is mine, I rule by his side now
